Arizona artist Dinah
Jasensky is known for her western figurative paintings. Her
subjects range from old west saloon scenes to Native
American children. “I paint what evokes an emotional
connection,“ she says, “ whether it be humor in an old time
gambling scene or the longing on a young ranch girl’s
face.” Jasensky’s paintings often reflect a unique view of
the old west, which is different than the typical cowboy
scene.
